Okay, so feeling better this morning. Not too much fallout from my "demibinge". I figure if I call it a demibinge, that makes it sound French, so it could be kinda sexy. lol. I had been down a pound since the big run on Monday (116)and was hoping to keep it that way, but alas, that pound came back. At least it did not bring any friends with it as I feared it would. I was in such a sucky, feeling sorry for myself mood last night for some reason. I am going to just say it was fatigue. But I just don't have time for that. I have a 9 mile run this morning with 9 "Yasso's". Don't really feel like doing it, but I will do it anyway. I love the quote from my training plan from the Flying Pig Website. "Listen to my body? If I was listening to my body right now I would be home in bed eating Danish rolls and reading the funnies." from something overheard at the 1991 San Antonio Marathon. lol. So I am putting a good, and hopefully by the time anyone reads this, it will be true. Definition of Yasso 800- Developed by Bart Yasso. This a half mile run as fast as you can maintain for that distance. The time it takes to do this predicts your marathon time. Mine is 5 minutes and 30 sec. That means my marathon time should be about 5 hours and 30 minutes. Update: Now I really feel stupid about last night's pity party. Today's run went fabulous. I felt good, I felt strong. No sweat. Okay, so tons of sweat, but I never once felt like I wasn't going to make it. So the next time I am jonesin for some peanut m&m's and cashews, I'm havin em and not even feeling a bit guilty!
