Weather still gloomy.  Life still gloomy.  Hubby is still sick, but going to work anyway.  I asked him if he was doing the exercises the doctor gave him, of course not.  He's a guy.  I did not sleep well last night, don't really know why.  Now I have a monster headache.  The rain isn't helping any.  I am supposed to meet a friend for lunch. I think he wants more than friendship, Obviously, I do not.  So I guess I will have to "deal" with that.  Why can't life be simple?

Cancel that lunch date ! LOL What is they say about married people flirting...it is flirting with marital disaster. There is probably some truth to that. I like to flirt...with my hubby. No, I\'m not telling any more details. LOL Have a nice day. Marie

If life were simple, it would be boring...lol.

Seriously, I think Ohana is right. You may need to cancel that lunch date. Based on what you said, you\'d have a valid excuse anyways. Still, the choice is yours, as always.

I know this may sound hard to believe because of how physically ugly that I am, but years ago I had an ex call me and say that it was very important that she see me right away. We still had several mutual friends so I just thought something might be wrong with one of them. As soon as I walked in her door, I asked what was wrong. Her response was, \"Have you missed these?\", then she pulled off her shirt. Keep in mind that I had just started dating my now wife, so I did not want to destroy this relationship. I have to be honest though and say I was very flattered, and I did NOT close my eyes, lol, but I did leave fast. Speaking from a man\'s opinion, please be careful on this lunch date. Your feelings are probably right.

I wish life could get simple for both of us......

Just be careful my friend. That can be a very tough situation. You need to make sure that the person knows how you feel. Don\'t let there be any kind of confusion there to fuel a fire.....

I hear ya. Doing without the unnecessary complications and drama --wouldn\'t that be nice? On \"gloomy\" days, I try to tell myself that by seeing the glass 1/2 empty, I\'m missing out on the half-fullness of it. Hang in there, champ! : )

The lunch went well. He says he understands. Ever kick a puppy, same look. So I think he must.. I hope.

Well, I\'ll add my hope to yours, and believe that the message gets through. I\'m sure it wasn\'t easy for either of you, in its own way.
