Well, yesterday was a wash as far as getting anything done, but it was going to be anyway if we had gone to Louisville. I did run 3 miles yesterday, sort of. Not a great run. I got in 30 miles last week, but they were not "good miles" . lol. I have got to get back to discipline, tomorrow of course as I sit here eating donuts. On the bump front, some of these bumps are what are called skin tags, not tumors. I was looking on line and found a site saying you could remove them at home. You tie a peice of dental floss around the base, tie it really tight. Then you can either cut it off, the floss keeps the bleeding down, or you just tie it tight and leave it there. I thought I would try it on one first, the tie it tight and leave it there first. Hasn't done much yet. I am such an idiot. I would love to go to a doctor and have them removed, but like the tumors, they don't want to remove them. Not medically necessary. Bastards!

As I struggle with the down side of life I try to always rejoice in the up side. I wish the best of everything for my friends at DS. I hope life in general is good to you and may the weekend hold some rejuvenation for fulfilling next week. Love ya and need ya, Marie
That\'s too bad their removal is labeled \"not medically necessary\"!! Argh. I have an old friend whom I remember saying once that one can remove small warts using a string, just like you described. I don\'t know whether it worked for her, though. Do you reckon it\'d hurt??
It would be great if the new method worked....but greater if the med. people understood that there\'s more to medicine than healing the body! What\'s the difference between \"good miles\" and those which aren\'t? Can\'t imagine running 30 miles would ever be anything but amazing!
Miles are miles, no matter if they are good or bad, in my opinion. Your 30 is a heck of a lot more than I have done! I get some in, but not to that extent.
As far as the tags go, my wife did get one removed by her doctor. The only problem was that it cost us $80 to do. Still, those should be fairly easy to deal with regardless, so I\'m surprised that your doctor wouldn\'t at least give you the opportunity to do so. Just keep doing the best you can, no matter what. I believe this will all shake itself out, eventually.
