Well today I really showed how dumb I am.  The will thing went well.  We got everything worked out, made all the decisions we needed to.  We go back tomorrow to sign it.  Got my son to the airport, he is back safely at the dorm.  Then at one o'clock I went on my run.  I ran 14 miles and was feeling kinda tired.  So I ended it then.  When I got home, I showered and changed and then was not feeling well.  I felt faint and nauseous.  I was trying to fix dinner and had to keep taking breaks to lie down.  In between I drank some juice and ate a couple of pretzels and amazingly started to feel better.  Then i realized, I had a bowl of cereal for breakfast, a handful of dark chocolate M/M's, then a couple of crackers and a handful of peanuts for lunch.  Even with the protein bar I took to munch on on my walk, that isn't much calorie wise for that much exertion.  I am feeling better now, so I think I will be okay, and next long run, I will pay attention to what I am doing, even if I am busy and there are lots of people around the house!

That is scary. Take better care and remember to eat. I have a friend that is very fit and healthy. You kind of remind me of him when you speak about running long distances. He does that also, as well as weight lifting. He swears by raw eggs, yuck! He is a nurse and works many hours, so he claims that when he is real busy and does not have time to cook, he will drink 6 raw eggs at the time.

You certainly have to keep your calory intake up. At least to the level you are burning off. Unless you are trying to lose more weight and I can see by your pictures that should not be a goal. You look marvelous Sunshine.. Please take care of yourself

You are not dumb, just busy... and probably not appreciated enough by your family because I know how it is

I know what you mean --sometimes it\'s weird how we forget to eat when we\'re so busy! I try to bring fruits and/or cereal bars with me if I know I am going to have a hectic day. I\'m glad you\'re ok! Take care of yourself!!!
Hugs!!

A good lesson learned w/o dire consequences. The body does know what it needs....sometimes at least!
