The workout went well enough. Did one turn through the circuit, did my core exercises, 20 minutes on the stationary bike and 15 minutes on the treadmill, easy tempo, 3MPH with a 15% grade. When I was done, I didn't really feel sore or tired, but I worked out for an hour, so I guess I did okay. Short run tomorrow. It is still really cold out there, but not painful cold. I was thinking today about my suicide attempt when I was 18 and did not know I had NF, had no tumors. If I had succeded, I would never have known. My husband would have married someone else. None of my children, whom I love more than life would exist. Kinda had my own "it's a Wonderfull Life" experience. I often wonder why I survived that. Why God interviened in the form of a friend who showed up at my door when she wasn't supposed to. She just had a feeling she should come over and see me. Why? I remember when I was in high school and a good friend died at the age of 17. I asked God then, why him, why not me? I was the worthless one. I still don't know the answer to any of that. All I can do is just keep trying, keep working.

I ask those questions too, not that I would ever wish death even on my worst enemy. Those things kinda come back to bite you. However I wonder why the worst things must happen to good people and the bad ones get the best things in life. Makes me question a lot.
Unfortunately, there are a lot of things in life we\'ll never have answers to... I\'m glad you keep working and trying...you\'re an inspiration for people...
The \"what if\'s\" are always interesting to ponder, but when I look back over the sum of my existence, I am very glad that I had te experiences I did. And the friend at the door? What the AAers call a minor miracle, HP driven! I\'m glad he/she came over to check on you. You are such an inspiration with your dedication to your program, your commitment to your family, and your dealing with NF.
