Well last night did not turn out as planned.  About 4PM, my hubby was feeling dizzy, kinda suddenly.  He went to lie down and woke up naseous and vomitting.  He does have high blood pressure, so we were worried about that.  So since dinner was ready, we left the kids to eat and went off to urgent care.  The nurse looked at him and said, "I don't wanna hurt your feelings or anything, but you look like shit!".  Turns out he has vertigo.  I get it from time to time due to my sinus problems.  It isn't any fun.  He seems better today, but is staying home from work.  I am just so glad it isn't any more serious than that.   Well, today is a short run, maybe 3 miles, easy run.    Update:  Made the 3 miles in 32 minutes and 48 seconds.  Shaved 12 seconds off my time from last week, lol.  Hey, people win races by that much time don't they?  Anyway, feeling pretty good.  Not at all sore.  Another run either tomorrow or Friday.  I'll see how I feel tomorrow.  A semi long one, about an hour.  Hubby has slept most of the morning.  A good thing I think.

Well how rude of the nurse! Vertigo is treatable but as you stated yours had a root cause - sinuses. So does your DH\'s veritgo... sometimes in the winter our sinus passage get dry and there is a pressure change in them which cause the dizziness.

I use a saline spray to keep moisture in the passages. I had vertigo for years but one day woke up and it was gone.
Take care of yourself and your DH! Blessing my friend!!!

Hope your husband gets better fast. That nurse has about as much business being in the medical field as I do being the president of the USA. Some people are just plain mean, and she sounds like one of them.
