Today was a GPR (goal pace run), a little slower but longer.  I made 5 miles in my hour's run.  It felt pretty good.  The weather is pretty depressing .  Had to run at the gym because it is still kinda icey and we are supposed to get freezing rain today.  Hasn't come yet though.  And the weekend has us in a deep freeze.  So I guess my short "easy" run on Saturday will probably be at the gym also.  Best investment I've made in a while.  I think it has already paid for itself.  Tomorrow I will do some "core work" joy, and some cross training.  Everybody will be home tomorrow, so it will be harder for me to get to the gym.  But surely, I can find one hour of the day that doesn't demand I do something else.  lol.  Then Monday I try for 13.1 miles.

Let me know what time monday you are going to run that 13.1 mile run, for I would love to come run it with you. JUST KIDDING! I could not run 13.1 steps, LOL. I used to really love that t.v. show in the 70\'s called the \"Bionic Woman\", and I often wondered why they took such a great show off t.v. But reading your journals with all of the strength and talent you have, makes me wonder if by chance, YOU are the bionic woman. You are awesome. Enjoy your run and I will send a wave of moral support your way.

I\'m so glad that the gym has provided a way for you to continue your training w/o depending on good weather. You definitely should take that hour tomorrow. If you\'re not in a good place, you can\'t be at your best for everyone else.
