The weather is matching my mood this morning. I took my baby to the airport, drowned my sorrows in 2 donuts and 2 large cups of coffee. Didn't really help much. My hubby is at work. He seems distant this weekend. Probably because he is tired. Today is supposed to be my training rest day. I may go for a walk after church if it isn't raining though. I don't think that will hurt. We are supposed to have a "winter storm" coming. Update:The plane landed safely in New York. And I get to see him again on my birthday! And I know we will chat on the phone many times between now and then. It just seems so quiet around the house. Funny how just one person being gone can make such a big difference. The weather has gotten worse. Cold, rain, gloom, yuck.......... Fixed stew for dinner and now we are watching Van Helsing on TV. Nothing like a good horror movie on a yucky night when you are feeling blue.

Saying goodbye never gets easier, does it? My family has adopted this saying for such occasions: \"The pain of parting is nothing to the joy of meeting again.\" Believe it or not, it does help. Was there a cinnabon at the airport? That\'s where I would have crashed and burned!
I am glad to hear that DH made it home safely!
