I am not weighing myself tomorrow.  I have not had an out and out binge today, but have grazed pretty much all day.  I just don't want to know.  The thought of tomorrow terrifies me.  Up until now, I have been on my own schedule.  Nothing specific, as long as I was making progress.  Tomorrow, I start the real deal where I could actually fail to do what the schedule says.  And I don't know if I am more afraid of failing , or of succeeding.  How sick is that.  Taking deep breaths, trying to find my courage.  I think I have some somewhere, if I can just remember where I put it.   I still refuse to put down bad, because I am the author of my own misery.

Yep I had an all and out binge so don\'t feel bad, yesterday and today... but tomorrow I must go to the gym or else if I don\'t start getting back into it, I will get even more depressed and the cycle will get worse.

I think it\'s good that you are not going to weigh yourself. It takes 3500 extra calories to put on a pound so a little mini binge isn\'t going to do you in. It\'s always terrifying to start such a new, demanding task, and I think you explained well the confusion about whether it is success or failure you\'re afraid of. I have faith in you! Isn\'t courage doing the thing we are afraid of in spite of that fear?

Dont worry about the scales. Just stick to your goals. I am sorry that I have been a bad workout partner. Sunday (a week from today) I will have access to a treadmill and can start logging some miles with you if you like. Take your fears as a part of it, and use them to push yourself through. You can do this!
