Well, its back to the gym today for my rescheduled appt with the personal trainer. Now I get to find out what horrible shape I really am in. I will make a confession here. If I didn't need to be trained on how to use the torture devices known as gym equipment and what ones will really help me be a better runner, I would skip the personal trainer thing. The last time I was a gym member was 20 years ago, when I was pregnant with my oldest child. I worked out the whole nine months and was pretty proud of myself. I only gained 30 pounds and had a nine pound baby. After 4 weeks, my doc gave me the go ahead to exercise. At that point I still had about 5 pounds left from the pregnancy and weighed what I do actually today. So I went to the gym and as I was trying to find my abdominal muscles again paid the extra money to see their personal trainer. This toothpick took one look at me and said, "You really should have tried to work out while you were pregnant". I told her I had been to that gym at least 3 days a week right up to giving birth! That I took 4 weeks off because my doctor told me I had to, but that I had been walking every day with my baby in a stroller. She then exclaimed, "Well, I'm never having a baby if that is what it does to you." I never went back there or to any gym. But I really hope she kept her word. She probably has snake venom in her breasts. Well, if you read this before 10AM, say a prayer for me. I really don't need assault and battery on my record. lol. Update:My personal trainer was a no show. Maybe that's a good thing, I don't know. I asked for another one and let them know I was very unhappy right now. So I didn't stay to work out, as the only thing I know how to use is the treadmill, and I really didn't feel like working out there at that point anyway after waiting 20 minutes for someone who didn't show up. So I go back tomorrow at 12 noon. Oh well, I may go visit my exercise bike in the basement after while. Right now I just want to crawl in a hole somewhere.

Oh just in time! I read this at 9:51a.m., so I did get in a prayer for you. I never wish anything bad on people, because I believe it could come back on me, but it would be nice if you could see that jerk of a trainer you had 20 years ago, and she be ballooned up to about 400 pounds. If I were you, and that did happen, I would just have to make fun of her to her face. People like her are so evil.
Cruel comments can create worry, fear, shame in the heart of the innocent. That is what happened to you. That young woman was immature, self-absored, ditsy, and shallow....it reminds me of the time, after my 4th out of 8 miscarriages I called a woman who was filled with the Spirit. She told me \"I know why you are having miscarriages.\" She continued to tell me that several generations ago one of my family members sinned and I was the weak link in my family. I started to giggle...I honestly thought she was joking. She scolded me for \'mocking God\'. She nows has ovarian cancer. I sent her a prayerful card hoping that she soaks in the love of the Lord...
Isn\'t it weird how we hang on to those kinds of comments but can\'t remember a complement we received 20 years...heck 20 minutes ago? These brains of are are very troublesome! Snake venom! That is such a vivid response. No wonder you have a book to write!
