I'm back. It was a nice trip. Actually had a nice visit with my dad and his wife. They actually sounded interested in what we were doing. He asked about the marathon plans. Had a nice visit with my sister-in-laws, as usual. Ate too much and didn't exercise enough, but it is the holidays. Gotta start back in ernest on Monday. Feeling mostly better, not completely well though. My oldest son stayed home with his dad. Funny thing, he told him he wanted to join the Peace Core after college. For some reason, he thought we would be upset about that. I would be proud for him to do that kind of work. But we will see. He does have another year after this one. Oh, and just had to add, the visit with my dad was due to devine intervention. They were supposed to go to Lexington to visit with my brother, but it poured down rain all day on Friday, and my dad doesn't drive in the rain. TeeHee. So he was stuck with me.

Glad you had a nice trip. Glad your son can share his plans with you and your husband. Goal is a good one...Monday is coming! My goal too.
Glad to hear you had a good and safe trip. :)
I think you are right. God knew the little girl inside needed positive reinforcement from her earthly dad. I\'m glad it rained. Your dad should be very proud of you. I bet he is proud of your weight loss because dedication, healthy choices, desire, and perseverance have been your companions for a long time....
That would be a great thing for your son to join the Peace Core. I know a guy that did that for quite a while. He said the living conditions were not so good, but the wonderful memories were worth it all.
I\'m so happy that you had a nice visit with your dad. Life is too fleting to hang on to resentments and as long as you keep taking steps to make the relationship better, you\'ll realize the benefits and won\'t have regrets later on.
I am glad your visit was a good visit. Its all about relationships and life is short make the best of it! Blessings to you!
