Really tired this morning. Hubby was in a foul mood last night. Work was rough and the woman who seems to "get sick" a lot when she is supposed to be on call is on call for Christmas. Everyone has to do it for two holidays. She wanted to do both on Christmas to get it over with. He was really afraid she would get sick and he would be called to do it. I told him to turn his cell phone off, then she can't call him. So he did. He isn't on call and therefore should not have to have it turned on. So, now he is feeling better. I am taking my younger son out to buy a present for his girlfriend. Really don't feel like it. I want to stay home and make gingerbread. I finished wrapping all my gifts. I am sooo tired, not really wanting to go out. But perhaps something nice will happen as a result. I like to think so anyway. Skipped the Nexium today as well as my morning coffee, so my digestive system is doing better. But my brain really misses the coffee. Maybe if I try some decafe, my brain won't know the difference. lol. Still giving it a good, just because...... Merry Christmas one and all!!

Marah, thank you for giving your husband \'permission\' to have a life outside of work. There seems to be people in the workplace who do take advantage of others (evening trying to shortchange them.) I\'m glad that we can shut off cell phones. When does he have to go back to work? I always admire the sacrifices you make for your family. Your son will appreciate you helping him find a gift for his special friend. You are right. Something or someone will \'happen\' that you will be able to encourage. I am also very proud of you as you diligently work towards your goal of running in a marathon. YOU GO GIRL!!!! Merry Christmas. Love, Diane
