Well,  Hubby's office Christmas party was yesterday.  OMG, so much food.  I ate way too much.  I am torn between feeling guilt about how much I ate and feeling pretty good that I didn't eat more.  We really did have a good time.  So here I am this morning feverishly baking cookies, trying to get all my out of town packages ready to go to the post office this morning before the winter storm hits.  I will be making a big pot of chili for tonight.  I think tonight we will pull out the DVD of It's a Wonderful Life, my very all time favorite Christmas movie.  I remember the first time I saw it, Hubby and I had just gotten married.  He was in the Navy and had "the duty" Christmas Eve.  So I was all alone for the first time in my life on Christmas Eve.  We only had one car, so I couldn't even drive to church.  That movie came on late night TV and there I sat at like 2 in the morning balling my eyes out. lol.  I have had to watch it every Christmas season ever since.  Last weekend, we watched A Christmas Carol, the one with George C Scott as Scrooge, best version of that movie ever.   Well, I hope anyone reading this, and even all my  friends who don't, have a wonderful Saturday.

Hope you don\'t get pounded too much by the snow. That is my sister\'s favorite Christmas movie too. I\'m a fan of Christmas Story. Funny how some of the classics are so good that you never tire of them.
