Warm and rainy today.  Well at least that's something different.  Our dog is so hacked off at not getting to go for longer walks due to the rain that he has taken to peeing on the floor during the night.  GGRRRR!!!  Wonderful way to start the day. I really need to teach him to hold a picket sign and walk back and forth across the front door.  I am tired of these liquid political statements! It's my morning to read to the kindergarteners.  I need to get to the mall (a 20 minute trip) to finish my out of town Christmas shopping.  I wish I knew what to get for my dad.  I really just don't know him anymore.  We never much got along, but when mom was alive, I at least knew what he liked, or said he liked.  I can't ask my stepmother because I just can't, don't ask.  This time of year, I really miss having a real family.  I am on record that I don't care what my children do with their lives, as long as they are not on drugs or abusive, they will be welcome in my home.  I pledge to never make them feel unwanted, ever.  I need to get to the post office, the library, gotta turn in my financials for GS troop today.  I hope to have time left to really get into my laundry (fact of life, eventually you have to iron!) and vacumming.  Hubby put the lights on the tree, so the kids and I can decorate it.  At least that should be fun.  I hope.

I agree with you on family. I will accept my boys life as long as they are not drinking or doing drugs to. All i can say is that I am raising my boys the complete opp as my parents did me.

Now for a laugh. When I was 1 week from delivering my oldest son, we had a dog that we taught to ring a bell that we had on the door to let us know it needed to go out. Well, that dam dog kept ringing it one day, so i would take it out, and it did not go potty. Well by the 5 time I said Fu*& it. Well you guessed it the dog rang the bell, I did not take it out and it peed all over my kitchen floor. so I had to clean that up. what a funny sight it must of been to see a 9 month preg women on her hands an knees moping the floor. Hope that story made you smile. Love Heather

I was never one to tell my kids what to do with their lives. My goal was to get them to the point of valuing this country, be good honest citzens, and know who they are (in a religious sense). I can confidently say they are these things and it is one of the few good things that I have done in my life. I wish your kids the same because you will know the feeling of accomplishment in the global sense. :-) Yours still are a work in progress. :-)

Good luck with your errands!
