Feeling strange today.  Maybe it is just tired.  Or maybe it is trying to do too many things at one time, laundry cleaning, reading, etc....  I just can't seem to get my brain to function.  My daughter is driving me crazy, she has a research project she needs to do and keeps wanting me to find stuff for her.  Helllloooo, not my project.  I have tried to help, but she doesn't like anything I find.  GGRRR!!!!  I want to do something, but can't figure out what.  I am afraid I will find myself in the kitchen with the English Toffee.  I love English Toffee.  But do I love me enough to stay away from it?  Good question.  Okay, so I gave in to the toffee,  but just one.  so that was good.  I could stop.  I did.  And I gave in to a wine cooler, but halfway trough I poured it down the sink.  I hated to wast half of it like that, but I really didn't want anymore, so I didn't want the option of finishing it.  So, I was bad today, but I was good.  I walked 10.69 miles today.  Funny, that used to feel like an accomplishment, but today it makes me feel like a slacker.  Why do weekends have to be so hard.

I almost fell off my chair laughing when I read that you feel like a \"slacker.\" I am the master-slacker, honey, and you can\'t hold a candle to me!! I think it\'s hard to break the habit of thinking of some foods as \"bad.\" That makes it seem so forbidden which makes us feel guilty and lousy when we occasionally eat/drink them. Of course, what do I know: I\'m 60 and fat!

The goals you\'ve set for yourself seem to push you to momentary unhappiness. You are consistent, too hard on yourself, and in need of being your own champion. I honor you and the discipline you have in meeting your health goals.
