Raining again. Just sprinkles, so I will probably go running anyway. Went to my last "muffins with mom" this morning at the elementary school. Had about half of a muffin, trying not to think about how much fat and calories I was consuming. My daughter always wants me to go, but she always acts weird about it while we are there. Oh well.

Yeah, I\'m gonna miss elementary school when my \"baby\" starts middle school next year.
Love the idea of muffins with mom...too bad so many of our functions focus on food, but it does seem to break down a lot of barriers. Middle school is so different. Sounds like your daughter\'s reaction is a preparation for next year. Kids at that age would sometimes rather say they were hatched than admit they have parents, but in their hearts, we\'re the ones they still need the most. Enjoy this last year of nurturing.
