Didn't write yesterday and won't write much today. Looonnggg day yesterday. Eight hours of driving. Almost got hit head on. A car passing a semi on a two lane highway, had to drive on the shoulder to avoid them. Crap, I knew I should have turned off my Romulin Cloaking Device! Almost hit a dog, big dog. Just ran across the highway. And then a deer when we were about 5 ft from my friend's house. I told her we almost hit the "welcoming committee". lol. The mountains are so pretty this time of year with the leaves changing color and all. I had forgotten how much I missed them. But these two lane VA country roads I do not miss. Hope anyone who choses to read this has a good day. Thanks to everyone who has been putting up with and encouraging my this week. I am trying. I know things will get better, I just really hate the view from the bottom. But seeing old friends is really helping. Glad I came.

It\'s great that you\'re able to get away and enjoy the beauty of the autumn. Scary driving story though. Two lane roads are a real challenge, especially when you have to share them with semis, dogs, deer and wackos! Glad you made it safely.
