Not a really good day health wise. I slept late again. I really tried to get up early, but my body just wouldn't co operate. Then I had coffe and 2 donuts for breakfast. Then church from 9-12. Then I had a banana and some icecream for lunch. Not the most nutritious I know. But I was going to have ice cream, and that is all there is to it. Ice cream has calcium doesn't it? Then I had to take my older daughter to her soccer game. They won. And she played really well. They had no subs and she forgot her asthma inhaler, but she toughed it out and made some really good saves. She plays defense. I was really proud of her. Then we went to the grocery on the way home. Then I had to fix dinner and then take her to youth group meeting. Then I did go out for about an hour. I did okay, 4 miles of run/walk. I did run 1/10 of a mile in one minute for one of my runs. Okay, so it was down hill, and the rest of the runs I only made half of that. But hey, that is the first time I did 1/10 of a mile in one run. So I don't care what anyone else thinks, I am counting it as a victory. I should go back out to get in some more miles for the day, but I think I am going to bed early. I can't afford to oversleep tomorrow. I am rating today good. I don't really deserve to feel good today, but don't we get grace when we deserve it the least?

oh wow, Msrah, you deserve it indeed.........despite the doughnuts and ice cream - when you have to have it, you have to have it...lol - and good for your daughter and soccer with the asthma as well, that is brilliant.......btw how do you mean, one tenth of a mile in one run? is this the amount of time running before you go to walking? (I LOVE bananas - always have one for breakfast...favourite food....hugggs Cathrynn xx
Definitely deserve grace for all that you do! It all counts. And ice cream for lunch sounds perfectly fine to me. I sometimes think that part of my problem is that when I indulge in the foods I really shouldn\'t have, I still eat all of the stuff I know I should and that only compounds the problem. Better to deal with an urge as replacement than addition on occasion. Hope you\'re feeling better.
