Not having an especially good day. I had to take the birds to the vet, so I only got 1/2 hour to run/walk early. I did okay, but there seemed to be a lot of people out this morning and that makes me embarrassed to try to run. I did it anyway, it just embarrasses me. I know they are thinking "what is that fat slob trying to do? She can't even run a whole block.". I wish I were further along and could run further. But anyway, then I took the birds to the vet for their checkup. It was freezing in the vet's office. They make a big deal about being there early. I had to wait a half hour after my appt. time to see them. Then when I was waiting for someone to find time to check me out, a lady with a large dog went up to the counter. There was another large dog in the waiting room. I like dogs. I like big dogs. But this one had a bark that just sent a pain through my ears and into the center of my head and sent pain all the way down my back. It physically hurt. And it would not stop barking at the other dog. And when someone finally came to check me out, she seemed to be having problems. Maybe she couldn't think strait with the barking. I just wanted to get out of there. I felt almost panicked. When she finally handed me my reciept, I almost ran out of there. I need to get out and walk some more (only got 2 miles in this morning), but I can't bring myself to go back outside. My head still hurts and I just want the world to go away.

That does sound miserable. I love dogs but hate barking dogs. Don\'t fret about what people might say about your running. They\'re just as apt to think,\"Wow, look at her out there working on doing healthy things! Good for her!\" You go girl.
