I have had a very busy day. I took the dogs out for a one mile jaunt. Then went downtown to the hospital to see Dave. He looked great! Lots of swelling and I have never seen him not be clean shaven before, so that was a bit of an adjustment. But his spirits are so good. And he was talking pretty well considering his jaw was wired shut. But if any one could talk with his jaw wired shut, it would be him. lol. He may get to go home soon, so he is doing really well. And he mentioned all the folks praying for him, he said he could feel it. So I can not thank my DS friends enough for that. So after that I went to a "metro park". I am looking for a place to take the GS troop to hike. This place was wonderful. I got a good 5 mile walk in to boot. And there are a couple picnic areas and lots of places for "little girls" to rest. So I think it will really work. Then picked up my youngest and took her to the salon to get some red highlights. She had been talking about wanting them for a while, so I just thought that would be a fun thing for us to do. Then we had to pick up a couple more things for her Annie Oakly costume for tomorrow. Now I have to fix dinner, bake brownies for her to take tomorrow and Yes!! I will finally make it to a choir practice. Hurrah!! If I can, I will walk when I get home from that for a bit, but if not, I'll just try to make up for it tomorrow. And Hubby came home in a better mood.

Well, you had quite a day. Glad to hear such good news about Dave. It\'s been quite a long haul in a day and age when they kick you out of the hospital in record speed. Sing your heart out!
I\'m glad your hubby came home in a better mood. Hopefully his work place will find a way to change whatever needs to be changed to keep good help. I\'m glad your daughter got her red highlights...I just arrived home from that hair salon myself...my front bangs are golden blonde and the rest a copper...changed the whole darn color.....hee hee....haven\'t done the orange-red yet....
You are always such the busy bumble bee. Glad hubby is feeling better. And if you could just send some of those brownies through the email I will be feeling better too. HUGS-LEXX
