Hubby came home in a really bad mood. He is still having to do someone elses job as well as his own, and still on call. One person being out sick should not cause this, but his boss is such a jerk, he can't keep people. So they are habitually at least 2 people short to start with. I really hope things settle soon. I know he is really tired, so I am trying not to take anything he says or does personally. Well, 11 and a half miles for the day. I just walked tonight. I am still a bit sore from this morning. I did get some glucosomine and condroiten (sp) pills. One of my running books says older folks like me who are beginning runners should take them. Good for the joints.

Ed and I faithfully take our gluco and condro. pills, each day, every day. It helps us move with limited pain. :-)
I used to take the glucosamine after my knee surgey and b/c Im hyper-mobile (my ligamets strech but don\'t always go back), and had to switch to the vegetarian kind b.c the use shellfish parts in it and Im deathly allergic.
That\'s awesome that you are running. I like running but it hurts! I have found that running on the treadmill is soooo much easier for me than running outside. Sorry hubby is being a grump. I had the opposite problem the other day. Thanks for all your kind words, they really help. Have a good one!!!!
Marah - that glusomene and chondroitin is absolutely brilliant. Sometimes I dont get some more for a while and I know it I can tell you! I can walk upstairs without any pain at all with them, without, I cant at all.......hope they work with you.......and hope hubby starts to get less work pressure soon. My son had a really difficult boss for quite a few years and found it so releasing when the boss left...but of course that cant always be arranged, can it..:(
I\'ve hard that as well. I think I was too far gone by the time I started taking it though. Hope things settle down at your hubby\'s job. Sounds pretty miserable.
