I am so excited to get out the news on my friend Dave. He is out of ICU and in a room on the trauma floor! And he can now have visitors, so I will be going tomorrow I think. I would love to go today, but duty calls. I want to say thank you, thank you, thank you to everyone who prayed for him. Hid wife says he makes improvements by the minute. God bless you all and have a blessed Sunday. As for me, I am still a bit sore, but not too bad. Hubby brought home coffee AND donuts. I succombed to one and a half. Oh well, the lost weekend. Maybe I'll have a salad for lunch. In the old days, I would have had at least half a dozen, so I guess not too bad. Cause I really don't want any more.

Praise God for his healing touch on Dave. Bless his doctors and nurses for their knowledge and wisdom in how to help him heal, too. If your comfortable with this, it might be kinda cool for you to print off prayers that your DS friends have prayed for him. Make them into a poster, decorate it, then have his wife hang it up so he can see the love that has helped him through this difficult time...you are a dedicated loving friend, Marah...
so glad Dave is doing well, Marah.........you are a good friend to him, as to the rest of us here as well..*S*.................and I dont half feel like one of your doughnuts..:(
take care..hugs to you
So glad to here Dave is doing better. And dont feel bad about the donuts you work out hard so you can have treats every once in awhile. Which is funny because now that Im off the prednisone my craving have immediately went away and I\'m not as hungry all day. Usually reading about your banana chocolate chip pancake and donuts would make me want to go out and get some but today the cravings are very low. I hope they stay like that. HUGS-LEXX
Suchhh good news about Dave. Donuts always call my name! one and a half seems like an incredible victory!
