Okay, well, made it 5 miles again.  It was so nice and cool out. So 10 for the day.  Still feel like I should have Goodyear plastered on my side.  Oh well.  But thinking about the changing seasons and this came up on MP3.  It's a hymn that has always been special to me.Great is Thy FaithfulnessWords: Thomas. O. ChisholmMusic William M. Runyan 1.  Great is Thy faithfulness, O God my Father;     There is no shadow of turning with Thee.     Thou changest not, Thy compassions, they fail not;     As Thou hast been Thou forever wilt be.   Refrain:     Great is Thy faithfulness! Great is Thy faithfulness!     Morning by morning new mercies I see;     All I have needed Thy hand hath provided     Great is Thy Faithfulness, Lord unto me.2.  Summer and winter and spring-time and harvest,     Sun, moon and stars in their courses above     join with all nature in manifold witness     To Thy great faithfulness, mercy and love.   Refrain3.  Pardon for sin and a peace that endureth,     Thy own dear presence to cheer and to guide,     Strength for today and bright hope for tomorrow,     Blessings all mine, with ten thousand beside!   Refrain

Oh Marah, that is beautiful! I wish I could walk like you do but I just can\'t in the summertime at all with the heat and here we have 95% humidity in the mornings so I can\'t breath to walk but come Fall and Winter and I am out there like a fool walking. In Jefferson City, MO where I lived before there was a park right across the street from the monastery so after Holy Mass I would go and walk two miles every morning and I felt great and dropped weight was down to 174 lbs which for this big boned girl is like tiny so I am great with envy for your courage, devotion, and dedication to getting your walks in! Bravo!

it is a lovely hymn...perfect when we are on the cusp of a new season. Here, at least, there is just a hint of autumn in the air...the shadows look different, the sky a little bluer. I miss walking though I can\'t imagine walking 10 miles every day! That\'s huge.
