Interesting day.  Got my younger son registered for his senior year of high school.  I finally got a human at the financial aid office of my older son's college.  He gets grants and scholarships that cover about half of his tuition, room and board.  We have been getting loans for some of the rest.  When we tried to apply this year, we got a note saying we had to contact the financial aid office at the college.  Apparently, some colleges have been taking kickbacks on student loans.  So as punishment everyone has to go through a central website that is very confusing and difficult.  I don't know if I actually applied for the loan or not and while I was trying to find out, I lost the "secure webpage" and it would not let me back on!  Here's my point, I did nothing wrong.  I didn't take kickbacks from anyone.  So why am I being punished?  Just sayin. I did get in 5 miles this evening, for a total of 10 for the day.  My calorie count doesn't look too bad, but I really feal like a blimp this evening.  Oh well.

I remember those forms so well. Now my younger daughter is going back to school and facing them once again. I think they need to hire a regular person who speaks understandable English to rewrite all those forms. So frustrating.
