I made it 5 miles this morning. Either it was cooler or I am just getting used to it. It isn't supposed to be cooler today. This is supposed to be the worst with a chance of big storms this afternoon. Then cooler tomorrow! Yea!! Don't know why, but I am in a really good mood this morning. The kids are fighting, and it isn't really even bothering me. Go figure. I am taking the girls out today to buy some "back to school" clothes. Hope I can find some for my older daughter that she likes that actually cover her whole butt and won't cause her dad to have a stroke. Not an easy task. lol. She has actually written letters of protest to all the jean companies asking them why they won't make more modest clothing for girls. She only got one responce, a coupon for 5 dollars off a pair of jeans. Hope everyone else is having a good morning.

Good for your daughter. I love to see that sort of activism in a young person. Some of the clothes they wear are downright scary! Happy shopping. I miss that part of \"back to school.\"
Yahoo for Marah\'s girl!!! Standing up for decency is the right thing to do. We have a store where I live that sells brands that still are waist friendly. However, they\'re not the popular brands, the town I live in is only about 10,000 in the middle of a plains state...we don\'t even have a women\'s or girl\'s dress shop that isn\'t ethnic...sad, so sad. But, enough of my clothing struggles, I\'m proud of your daughter. Take care if a big storm comes up while you\'re out and about. I\'ll pray for God\'s angels to come and protect you...love, diane
Good for her! I dressed in what was comfortable in H.S and was big on the whole thrift shopping thing, before it was cool. I hate to see all these little girls dressing like well...hookers...I lived in Nevada I know. My mom actually got in an argument with this woman b.c her daughter was wearing little shorts and you could see her butt, hih heels and a bra basically, to much make up..she couldn\'t of been more the 16. My mom asked her if she thought letting her daughter dress like a tramp improved her self worth or school work.
