Well, so far so good.  I actually wore a long sleeved shrit to cover up the tumors on my arms.  Not like it could do anything for my face.  Guess I coulda worn a burka. lol.  But if his dad and I sign the papers, he would have to take a medical exam, so I guess there would be a chance they would knock him out them.  But the recruiter only asked him if he had asthma, which he doesn't.  So that was good.  Of course, if we do not sign the papers, he turns 18 in Sept., and then he doesn't need us.  But, my worst fear was not confirmed.  Yet.  So no news is no news I guess.  So I am feeling better.

Watching your child grow wings to fly from the nest must be difficult. Ed and I did not have our own children, so I can\'t imagine the weight on your shoulders. God already knows your son\'s created destiny...he made it, and when your son learns what that destiny is, he\'ll find the path leading to his divine purpose. It might be the Navy, or it might be something else he\'s created to do to help others for the greater good. Rest assured, if he searches for God\'s will for his life, God will show it to him. love, didiy
