Got a call from one of my docs today. Actually her secretary. Really don't want to go into boring details, but I really hate it when they pretend to care about you when you can tell they do not! At least my daughter got a good report from the orthodontist. Due to being born with a cleft palate, stuff didn't initially grow quite right. So she had a palate expander and several baby teeth pulled in hope to give her upper jaw a chance to catch up. Seems to be working. But it rained all day. On my evening walk, the air was so heavy and damp, I had trouble breathing. When I stopped at one point to get my breath, I swallowed a bug! And no it isn't funny, well maybe it's a little funny. But I could just hear my grandma saying,"You gotta swallow a certain number of bugs before you die." And all I could think was , "Just great, now I'm one bug closer to death!" I wonder how many calories are in a gnat. Probably a bunch with my luck. Well, better luck tomorrow perhaps.

One of our friends\' daughters was born with a cleft palette. It was very difficult for her and them when she was younger, but, after multiple surgeries and speech therapy, and believing in Jesus all her life, and knowing that God created her just the way he wanted because there was a plan and purpose for her life that only she could fulfill, by the time Jennifer was in high school she was an outgoing, Spirit-filled young woman with many, many friends. She married a wonderful Christian young man, they currently live in New York City. She works with troubled kids, showing them that its through the tough times that their character is built. She also shares her faith when appropiate. Was your bug crunchy or mushy?? Exactly how many bugs do we eat before our own expiration date???? didiy
