sometimes you never know when someone has been put into your life for a reason...I truly believe fate has a way of putting the right people together at the right time....I got an email from someone who i will keep the name anonymous...and I asked her if I could post it as it came at a time when I really needed to hear something good....so here it is.... Hi Kevin, you gave me some advice a long time ago about keeping a marraige fresh by remembering how it used to be in the beginning. You probably don't even remember. Anyway, I got to thinking about that again about a week ago. Things in my marraige had gotten so routine, comfortable, boaring, predictable. Basicily we had become roomates who have sex once a month. Something had to be done. So every day I conjured up those memories, made myself remember how that 28yr old girl who was so in love back then felt. I remembered the way I used to look at him and couldn't wait to see him, the way we talked about everything and were so interested in each other, the way we used to wake up in the middle of the night in the middle of making love and we wouldn't even know how it had started. And the more I thought about those days, the more I wanted them back and that's what motivated me. I knew I couldn't change his behavior, so I changed mine hoping he would follow my lead and he did. I became that girl again. I let him know when he got home from work that I was so happy to see him. Gave him lots of sensual hugs and kisses for no reason, snuggled up to him on the couch at night instead of sitting at the other end of it, gave him lots of compliments which he ate up, really gave him my undivided attention, even staying offline when he was home with me to let him know I was focused only on him. Things like that. And what do ya know? He responded immediately, and like a dance he followed my lead perfectly. Things have been wonderful and I wanted to thank you for your part in that. You've helped two people who are very much in love remember why.
