Damn Kevin....I was gonna suggest going to a meeting, but I forgot your NOT a recovering alcoholic like me! But those meetings are what help me to stay out of my yuck and help me trudge through the pain. As they say, \"Pain is inevitable...misery is optional\". So bear with me...I\'m pretty disfunctional when it comes to coping, so I can only share with you what I\'ve learned in the program. It may sound trite, but some of these \"cliche\'s actually got me through some pretty tough times.
First and foremost, \"This too shall pass\". You won\'t remain in this pain forever. Just hang in there and you will feel better eventually! Another one is, \"One day at a time\". Looking at the future and how we\'ll manage future events can drive a person INSANE! We only have THIS 24 hours. Concern yourself ONLY with TODAY. Tomorrow will take care of itself!
I think you had the right idea in the beginning of your journal....PRAY! Ask Him to carry you through this. You can\'t. He can. So let him! My prayers are with ya bud :)

Omg! You explained that exactly right!!! I got weird feelings inside when I read that and a strong amt of empathy, also! Probably because I KNOW \"THAT\" type of pain all to well.
It seems like the end of the world at the time or that you want it to be the end, but I promise that it will go away. Little bit here at a time and then more and more...

I\'m right there with you... We\'ll get through it. There are so many people on here who say the pain eventually stops, but it takes awhile.
