So, went to the nuero-pharmicoligist last night!!  WOW!!  Was that an experience!!  I leaarned more about the chemical makeup of the human brain last night than I have known my entire 38 years.  He spoke with me for a little more than an hour and we talked about my life and why I felt I may be bi-polar.  he explained so much more than I tought I would ever get.  I learned why I am tired during the day and why I have a hard time getting up.  My Melatonin ratio in my brain is inverted due to elevated chemicals in teh brain...that's why I come to life around 5PM and can go all night...I also learned how Serotonin and Dopamine interact as well as the 7 basic neuro-tramsmitter of which there is more than any other.  It was the weirest thing, as he is talking I could swear he was behind me watching my life for the past 20+ years.  He, of course explained the different types of BP, I, II and III.  He feels I'm somewhere in the II range and based on what I told him thinks I may actually be a rapid cycler as well....He's ordered a complete series of blood tests to do a complete chemical makeup on me and also a 24 hour urine test...anyone know what that means???  Yup!!  That's right sports fans, I get to COLLECT my pee for 24 hours, from the time I get up until the time I go to bed and then take it in and get it tested...should be fun.....anyone for apple juice???He suggested I increase my fish oil intake to 4000 IEU a day as I had already been doing that but at a lower rate and then also gave me some Depakote samples to try if I wanted too after the labs are done.  I'm going back in a couple weeks to get the results and talk some more, this guy is great!!  I didn't get home until almost midnight as my appt was at 8, but he got an emergency call and asked if I could bump to 9...so I sat and read a book for awhile...no worries, wanted to catch up on some reading anyway.  I was soo tired at work this morning and during the day...but I do have 3 loans closing tomorrow and another 2 closing Friday God willing!!   So pary for me my friends that all goes well....will write more later!!  Love you all....and especially some of you more....you know who you are (K) (O) (D)
