So I wake up earlythis morning (something rare for me) I get up, shower and get ready to go with my wife to ride her horse for the first time. We get almost there and see mist or smoke coming from the engine compartment. Well, we get to the ranch and sure enough one of the fuel lines that goes from the main line to the cylinder is spewing diesel fuel...it looked like a fountain. So, we get the horse trailer and truck out of the way and shut it down, of course, it won't start again. Luckily the ranch owner has a friend who believes they can fix it, so they took off the part we need to replace and plugged the holes...so no riding. Then to top it off the colt I have up there being traied had a bad abcess on his neck from some sort of puncture wound. So had to have the vet come out and lance/clean it out. YUCK!!! So, the owner of the ranch brought us home and the truck is still in her yard, my wife has to spend tomorrow getting the part, getting up there and seeing if they can get it fixed. If not, it'll be one hell of a tow bill to get it to a dealership!! We were both pretty disappointed about not getting to ride, however, we will be bringing two of the three horses home very soon...like sometime this week...maybe even tomorrow!! My wife is very excited about that....she misses her horse. Anywho...I'm really depressed this afternoon. I really miss my dad, just talking to him or discussing life...I wish so many things for my life and I just dont know how to make them happen. My wife and I go to our counselor for the first time this Tuesday, so everyone pray for us...that it goes well.
