I wish I could go back in time and learn what I know now about myself and my mental challenges. I am having major issue with my wife and I just dont know what to do. We have an appt for a marriage counselor next Tuesday at 8PM...it's a start, but she has been the single only bright spot in my life for years and now I feel like I'm losing that too. I am do depressed today I couldnt even go to work. I called in sick...luckily half the office is sick with a stomach virus... I cant face life right now...I wish some of us on this site were closse enough geographically to get together and talk...in person, to share out lives on a more personal level. I really need that right now. I need a friend who I can meet at 10 oclock at night and sit and have tea or coffee with and just talk, maybe even just get a hug.........HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!! I feel so helpless, there is nothing I can do right now except give her time and space and show her that I loe her, but it's a fine line...being affectionate and being "clingy"...which she says in one of the negative things...what do i do???/

Kevin, it is hard...It is hard to have the person you love inevitable create confusion. I think marriage counseling is a start though! Keep me posted, Hugs to you! Love, your friend Jess

Hindsite is always 20/20. But a long term marriage is hard to walk away from. Have hope. always have hope.
there is alot you can do. Get yourself into treatment. Its always rocky at first you meds might not be right or in the correct dosage but her seeing you making effort is a great thing.

Otter...that\'s part of her challenge with me is how fast can I get some results and how much more can she handle after 11 years of dealing with it. Or more correctly, how much more does she WANT to handle...

I hope and pray that she will endure the battles, that she has the strength to keep going, you are a good person, don\'t give up yourself. I know from my own experiences, that my wife will endure alot, and I don\'t want her to have to, but she does, for better or for worse, in sickness and in health, till death do us part. I love her and I know she loves me unconditionally. I pray you all get past this, and start another chapter in the rest of your lives. I\'ll be praying, not only for you but for all of us who really try and fall short.

I wish we were all closer, too.

My hubby and I went through counseling. It took about six months for us to really start opening up, but man was it worth it. We were at what we thought was the END. But, we ended up in such a better place. I wish that for you and yours.

Gosh, I think I am going through the same mood state as you. I would dearly love to have a group of people to hang out with in the evenings that understand me. Right now I live with my folks cause I presently can\'t hold up a job. At 33 yrs this is the most lonely and humiliating time of my life.
