I have been so bad about writing in my journal. The last time I wrote I was really angry and I appreciate all the support I received from my friends.
I have calmed down and life has become pretty calm. If you call planning Thanksgiving, a baby shower and Christmas dinner. One of my friends is getting married on Dec 29th and she asked if I would marry them. I am a notary public and in the State of Florida a notary can marry people. I felt honored and of course I agreed. My sister in laws 50th birthday is in two weeks and my brother is having a surprise party for her. So it is just party party party and work work work for the next two months. The good thing is that I am able to do some stuff now. I also tend to overdo because I have been housebound for over a year. I feel like a caged lion that has been let loose.
I have bought so many toys for my grandchildren that I think it will probably take a month to wrap them. LOL. Anyway my Christmas tree is up by Thanksgiving so I have to buy some stuff to trim the tree with. Shopping for Christmas stuff is always so much fun. All of my yard figurines have to be replaced and I can't wait to get some new ones.
Hope every one has a low pain day and I will talk to you all soon.
Hugs Laurie

Wow~you are a busy bee. I am old fashioned. I get the shopping done in bits and pieces mostly via online and catalogs because of my walking problems. But I have to wait till after Thanksgiving weekend to even think about a Christmas decoration~I go by the way my Mum and Italian Grandma did it all those years ago~then they would leave things up till three kings day. In fact many years our tree didn\'t go up till Christmas Eve!!
It sounds like as busy as you are that it is all good things going on in your life~so that is something to be thankful for!!
God Bless
Yes she is a busy bee. PLEASE just don\'t kill yourself Miss Social Butterfly!!! I\'m so glad you feel well enough though. I was really worried about you for a long time!!! LOL Love you BFF!!
Laurie, It sounds like you are a Christmas nut just like me. I think I\'ll start wrapping later tonight. I like to wrap the gifts before I carry them to the basement for storage. It saves one trip up and down the stairs. You are really going to be a busy bee. Please take time to rest a little each day so that you can make it through the next two months. It is the busiest time of year without birthday parties, weddings and baby showers!!!
Be careful seetie, and don\'t over do. Seems liek when we get to feeling normal, we all aer guilty of that. No Christmas tree for me until after Pearl Harbor Day, don\'t know why, just has always been that way since I was little. Besides, after a couple weeks I get sick of it. Take care of yourself love ya sandy
I always have my Christmas up by Thanksgiving also. I love the season and decorations and love to have them out as long as possible. Take care of yourself and rest between parties! Hugs, Cathy
YOU SOUND LIKE YOU HAVE A FULL PLATE. JUST BECAREEFUL AND DONT OVER-DO YOURSELF. I AM ALSO A NOTIRY HERE AS WELL. I HAVENT EVER NOTARIZED A THING THOUGH THIS TIME ROUND. LOL I CANT GET EXCITED ABUT CHRISTMAS. TO MANY HARDSHIPS RIGHT NOW. BUT IF I COULD, MY TREE GOES UP DAY AFTER THANKSGIVING. DONT KNOW THAT I WILL EVEN PUT ONE UP THIS YEAR. BUT I ENJOYED READING ABOUT YOUR PLANS. MADE ME SMILE. THANKS FOR SHARING. HAVE A BLESSED WEEKEND. LOVE YA....JULIE
PS
I DID APPLY FOR SSD TWICE NOW. DENIED BOTH TIMES.
Thank you all for your friendship and support. It is nice to try and feel \"normal\" but unfortunately I pay for it the day after. That is ok because it is more than I have been able to do in a long time. Love you all... Laurie
