Good morning my friends,

Yesterday was an experience. I had the staples removed and a few of them had skin growing over them Ouch.  Overall, I still feel sore but a lot better. I think I can actually touch my stomach now which I haven't been able to do for a year.

I still can't believe that my brother in law refused to have a memorial for my sister.  It feels like we don't have any closure but we can't force him to do anything. My brother spoke to her daughter and they have the ashes. Don't even know what they are doing with them.

I am almost done with my Christmas shopping. I can't believe it. The computer is a wonderful invention. My grandsons birthday is Oct 17th and my daughter is having a party for him in the park. I am hoping to go for a little while. Christmas this year will be busy. My ex husband and his wife will be down for the holidays so Meryl my older daughter will be having Christmas Eve and I will be cooking for Christmas Day. My ex sister in law will be here too. I know this is crazy but we are still all friends. It wasn't like that when I got divorced. I don't think anyone hated an ex more than I did.  When Debbie was diagnosed as deaf he completely wrote her off. He took her hearing aids out for pictures (not when I was around) and wouldn't deal with her. When I told him that  she needed speech therapy he said that since she won't talk anyway he wouldn't pay for the therapy. That is pretty much the reason we did divorce.  He didn't become normal until he remarried and his new wife helped him do a turn around.

Anyway we are having a baby shower for Debs right before Christmas so that her stepmom can be here. It is also my granddaughters second birthday and Debbies 30th birthday Whew.. what a schedule.

Anyway it is time to watch JTV. I think I have to get a job so that I can afford all the jewelry I buy. Their prices are great. The funny thing is that even though I buy the jewelry I have no where to wear it to. So I wear it to Doctors appts. LOL.
