Good morning,I woke up this morning and my whole body hurt. I am wondering if this is from the infection. I couldn't even open my hands up they were that stiff. I am seeing the stomach doc this afternoon and praying that they are not going to do the surgery just yet. Another surgery in my abdomen scares me, but I can't take the chance of the diverticulitis causing a bowel obstruction, which they have a tendancy to do. I am still pretty tired and resting in bed or on the couch all day.It is really comforting to know that I have such wonderful friends.. people I can talk to and not be afraid of them tuning me out. I need all the advice and support I can get and I know that I would be there for my friends as well.Please know that I love you all and I will talk to you soon.luv ya laurie

Good morning back to you Girlfriend. Advise... I really don\'t have any for ya but I AM here for ya! I know nothing about diverticulitis but I do know that I am torn. I don\'t want you to have an obstruction but I don\'t want you to have to go through a nasty surgery. I just love ya and worry about ya. And I want you to be better. One thing I DO know is that infection can cause swelling. Not sure why but it\'s happened to me. So... hope you have a better afternoon and my fingers are crossed for you at the docs. Hi Laurie, I don\'t know anything about Diverticulitis, hopefully, the doctor will have some answers for you that will relieve your mind. To have surgery or not? that\'s tough, but you\'ve got us here for \"second and third, and fourth\"... opinions! I\'m thinking about you and sending yo all my Good Dr. Visit Vibes. (((Jasmine)))) I feel your pain~truly! I hope you got some good news and support at the docs office. I recently tried to supplements that are helping me~papaya enzyme and aloe juice. Look them up if you want and then ask your doc~worth a try??
