I finally heard back from the docs office and they can FIT me in on Tuesday. So what do I do until then. Truthfully I doubled the dose of hydrocodone and will stay in bed as much as possible. I find it totally amazing as to the lack of sympathy these doctors have. I wonder what they would do if they were in pain like we are. Maybe they would understand a little better how we feel. I doubt that. Anyway I will have to wait until Tuesday for some relief.Have a good pain free weekend Luv ya laurie

Ha! those docs have connections we will never have. If it gets too awful bad, head to the ER nad letthem give you something, better yet, maybe they will call your doctor! hugs sandy
Oh Laurie!! That is horrible! Bad doctors and nurses! Did they say what you could do in the meantime to ease the pain? How about a nice hot bath??? I don\'t know :( I don\'t want to tell you to stretch because that might make it worse, how about those heating pads? Maybe? How about tea? Arrggh, I feel so helpless :( I\'m sorry.
I know...it sucks...damn doctors...what if it were one of their loved ones? NOT..they wouldn\'t let that happen...not fair...hang in there and rest..I feel helpless to as to what to say! xo..Deb
The Doctors woulden\'t last 5min in our bodies. So sorry to hear that you have to wait until tues. Keep doin what your doin a double dose won\'t hurt you just be careful to space it, maybe try some ice. Wishing you as little pain as possible.

Thanks everyone. I am allowed to take the hydrocodone 4 times a day so I took two at one time. After the surgery the dosage was 1-2 every 4 hours. Thank you so much for your support. Unfortunately I can\'t stretch because there is a plate in my back. The best I can do is use those little ben gay strips on my back. So I have nothing else to do but wait. luv you all laurie
Laurie, I\'m so sorry to hear that you are suffering so much. I hope that the hydrocodone is helping and that you\'ll be able to rest.
I have terrible fantasies about helping doctors learn what pain feels like and what it is like to have relief from pain withheld. LOL. You wouldn\'t want to live in my pain-sickened brain these days!
Hang in there. I hope and pray that you get some relief soon. Please stay in bed and rest as much as possible (like you have a choice).

Laurie, I hope your pain is easing up. Please let your Dr. know if you are not getting the relief you need, and ask what he/she is going to do. Be polite but firm. The Dr. works for you.....Laurie, I hope you feel better soon...Love, Debbie
