Good morning all...I can't change my text color this morning for some reason. As I am sitting here I have jolts of stabbing pain goiong thru my lower back. I put in a call to the pain doc and my doc is on vacation. Wouldn't you know. Anyway the receptionist is going to speak to the nurse practitioner and see what she says. This has been going on way too long now and I just about am ready to scream. Actually I am crying because I don't know what this is. Nothing is touching the pain and it is actually making me sick to my stomach. I didn't eat for two nites this week. I am afraid they are going to up the dose of the duragesic patch. Anyway for those of you out there that push the envelope while you are feeling a little better all I can say is DON"T.I love you all and will write again soon Laurie

Oh Darlin..... It makes me so sad to hear this. I really wish I could help. Hopefully the nurse will be able to work wonders and you\'ll have a better weekend. My fingers are crossed for ya!!

Laurie, I am so sorry to hear that your are in so much pain. Sending a big hug and prayers. If the nurse practitioner can\'t help one thing that that has really worked for me is an herbal medication that is compatible with all other narcotics you may be taking it is called arnica montana 30 you can get it at any natural health food store call them ahead of time they also carry meds for nerve pain stomach problems etc... I used to be a sceptic but gave it a try as I was tired of the pain and tears one web site is 1800homeopathy. I wish you peace of heart and a much lower pain level.

Watch that patch!!!!!!!!!!! that stuff builds up in the system...I went to the ER as almost overdosed on that crap! I hope somebody really decides to take you seriously and helps you damn it!
