Well I made it until 8:30 without taking a pain pill. I am really afraid of being addicted but I don't really have a choice. My live in partner insists that I should do some exercise so that I can get stronger. I can't even walk let alone exercise. Everything causes pain. I don't know what to do

take the pill honey, but seriouly i was reading forget where ,addicts use pills to get high people in pian dont even thought they may become DEPENDENT see the word i used dependent on the medication we are not addict we are just trying to use medication so that we can function in socioty now when did you know an addict that wanted to function in socioty,
Freind, I take Hyrdo as well. Becoming addicted was my \"main\" concern. I was told it will be a \"lifelong\" medication and if I get addicted, then I get addicted. Same goes for you, do what you\'re told, keep it in your system, it will help to \"keep\" the pain somewhat at bay. Don\'t wait for the pain to become unbareable, it won\'t work as well. So, I understand your concern, it was one of mine too, but you have to do not worry about the addiction, if it helps you then take it. It\'s not a shameful thing, that was my issue of it. So, hang in there, take your meds like you\'re told to and hang in there. As for the walking part, I TOTALLY get where you\'re comin from, I can walk, but I can\'t get back!!LOL, it sounds funny and kinda is, but it\'s the truth. I don\'t exercise AT ALL because I have \"learned\' that if I do anything to push it, I pay ever so dearly for the next few days. SO I listen to my body, and take it oneday at a time.
Your freind and supporter!
My doctor said to not even worry about becoming addicted. When you take it for pain, it\'s different then just taking it to get high. I mean do you really get high when you take your medicine or just feel guilty because you\'re getting some relief. Think about it. You deserve to feel OK, don\'t you think? If you want to get high, buy a bottle of vodka and smoke a joint. If you want to function in this hell, take your medicine like a good girl and quit thinking so damn much! Love you. Kath
Hey Jasmine..... I assume you are part of the Chronic Pain Community??
There is a story in there called For The Normals... You should print that for your Partner... it is a suttle way of explaining what you are feeling. My man sure benefited from reading it... and he has been very very considerate and helpful even before reading it and now he is more understanding of the WHY\'s of my condition.... Just thought it might help. Hope you have a great day!! Renee
