Being a single parent can be hard. As a women things change on how you answer the door. I'm one when I'm home I don't answer the door at all. Tonight there was someone at the door and I just left the room and quitly went into another room in the back of the house. Never now these days on who is at your door. My heart was beating so fast that i thought that it was going to jump out of my body. I told my children that you never answer the door unless you know who it is. The have seen on the news about kidnapping and they understand why. There is nothing like trying to keep a 6 and 7 year old quite in the house and also a 6 month old. But at least I know by not answering the door and keeping it look at all times help. I guess who ever was at the door was trying to turn the knob... For all those single women KEEP YOUR DOORS LOCKED... and always have a plan in place.

I agree! I have done the same thing before. Not long ago a guy came here at 3 am drunk looking for the kid that lives upstairs.I had my grandsons and this freak started turning the knob.I was never so scared! Then I said do you want me to call the police? I`m going to right now and he took off.I heard him at the door for the kid he wanted.Who visits at 3 and doesn`t know where your friend lives??

Hey. Chimmer.. Glad you agree my mom does also but its hard to live that way but in the world today every female has to protect herself and her children. Doesn\'t matter if your married or ot married. I\'m sure the people years ago didn\'t have to go through this
