Day 2

Well, it's day 2.  I managed to stay sober all day yesterday and so far today.  I can do this.  I felt awesome this morning.  I felt amazing.  I can do this.  I can DO this.  I have to keep reminding myself that he CRIED when he was saying he was worried about me.  I said I was worried, too.  I really am.  I have been for a long time.  He told me I was going to die if I continued on like that.  I don't want to die.  I'm only 32.  My mom was younger than me when she kicked her alcohol addiction.  She says today that the only thing keeping her from drinking again is that she might light a cigarette, and that scares her more.  Go figure.  I'm not worried about my smoking.  I will tackle that another time.
I actually have a little bit of a cleaner house now.  I can barely believe the difference in stuff I can do when I don't drink.  It's a little strange actually.  My anxiety has been off the charts, even with my meds, but I need a check-up with my doctor anyway, so we might have to adjust them.
Anyway, for now, I'm still motivated.  Just hope I can keep it up.  The weekend will be my ultimate test.  For now, I'm pretty darn proud of myself.
