Well, here I am, back from ANOTHER weekend away from home. While away, I discovered that I can eat bread. At the mercy of restaurants and fast food joints, I had to choose wisely, but that wasn't easy. Anyway, I can eat bread now, not large amounts of it by any means, but still. I've discovered that when I do eat carbs (bread, pasta, or rice), I fill up so fast that I can't eat much else. I'd rather eat veggies and fruits because I can eat more of them. I'm going to stay away from bread, but now I have the temptation in front of me. Same goes for sugar. I made the mistake of taking a bite of my friend's raspberry cheesecake that they served at the wedding. It was delicious. I half expected to break into a sweat and to have a hard time breathing, but there was no reaction. I'm still staying away from sugar because it was a pretty small amount that I tasted, but I'd rather know that even small amounts are not ok. I had a sweet craving last night, so I went to the fridge for a kiwi and they were gone! I called my sister and asked where they were and she said she thought they were old, so she threw them away! I FREAKED on her. I bought 6 kiwi's on Thursday and she threw ALL of them away! I told her she owed me 6 kiwi's and she said, "I also owe you a package of whole wheat pitas and some sugar-free salsa!" Apparently, while I was out of town, SHE ATE ALL MY GROCERIES! I was so mad, because the "special" foods that I have to buy are NOT cheap. I won't even let her touch my water flavor packets because if I do let her, I know she'll take the last one and NOT REPLACE IT! Grrrrr. I'm just working myself up (and I can't do that 'cuz I'm at work). I can't wait to live alone again. I need to get my butt back on the workout train. I've been bad lately. Just working out here and there. For awhile, I wasn't feeling so hot, so I didn't work out. It was mostly because my nose was stuffy and I had sinus headaches (no post-surgery problems). Anyway, when you have a sinus infection, you just get run down, so it was hard to get motivated. And now I'm starting to feel better, but I haven't done much about it. I've decided that next year (when my FLEX account is renewed), I'm going to join the YMCA. There are two of them in town. One membership works for both locations. One has a pool so I can do water aerobics and swim and stuff, and the other has a rock-climbing wall and the "XerZone" which is video games and virtual stuff to get people active. I thought that was pretty cool. Dance Dance Revolution, here I come. :) Anyway, I need a place with aerobics classes and stuff so I have a reason to go. If I go to the gym to do "whatever" then I don't go, or, I go and don't stay very long. I need structure! The smoking thing is going great. I actually thought about having a cigarette about an hour ago and was like, "Whoa, that was weird. I haven't thought about smoking in like, a week." So, that's good news. I would be on this drug for the rest of my life if it kept me from smoking! I'm almost done with my first month and it really IS a miracle drug. Alright, enough wasting time at work. Time to DO something. Talk to you all soon.

Glad you\'re doing well with the \'no smoking\'! How was the wedding? Just you and Marc went from here, right?
