Alright, one more uneventful birthday over.  I'm glad that's done with.  I'm going to Minneapolis this weekend to do some mega-shopping.  I can't wait because I haven't been able to afford to buy too many new clothes.  My closet is pretty bare.  I don't want to go crazy though.  I hope I'll be losing more.  I do need to buy some sweaters though.  It's too damn cold in this part of the country to not wear sweaters!  The smoking thing is going fine.  Tonight will be the ultimate test.  My sisters and I are going out.  It was supposed to be my birthday party, but 100% of the people who are coming are my sister's friends.  They couldn't care less that yesterday was my birthday, they just wanna drink (and $5 says they'll sit and bitch about work the whole time).  We all work together, so we talk about work at work, we talk about work at home, and we talk about work when we go out.  Ugh!!!  I invited 2 of my own friends (since all my other friends live out of town) and neither of them are coming.  One broke her tailbone, so she can't even walk right now, and the other just wants to sit and home and feel sorry for herself.  (I'm not too happy with either of them.)I might be getting a puppy though.  Not 'til Christmas, but I can start getting ready now.  The puppies aren't even due until November 16th and they won't be ready to separate from their mother until about 6 weeks, which will be around Christmas-time.  I want 2, but we'll see how it goes.  If she can't get rid of them all, I might take two.  They are "free".  "Free" meaning that I have to pay for their shots, but not for the actual dog.  I'm doing a pharmaceutical study to pay for all that.  I will hopefully have enough to cover shots and spaying (I want girls) with my study money.  They are toy fox terrier crossed with a toy yorkie (called "Torkies").  They are going to be so cute!  I can't wait.Nothing else is new.  I hope everyone else has an awesome weekend.  I plan to shop 'til I drop...and then shop some more.  And maybe swim a little (the hotel has a pool and I think it'll feel good on the joints after a long day at the Mall of America).
