Well, snowbunny's coming home tonight!  After spending ALL DAY asking for her doctor, they finally got ahold of him and he came in, checked her out, and discharged her!  I know she still tires easily, so it's going to be awhile before she's totally recovered.I ran to the grocery store earlier and picked up some sugar-free jell-o, beef broth, and instant mashed potatoes.  She doesn't have a lot in her cupboards (and why would she?  I cleaned mine out right before surgery!) but she didn't have the necessities for after surgery either, so I tried to remember what I lived on for the first little while afterwards.Colin has gotten comfortable enough with me to be a little booger.  He's starting to throw tantrums, but auntie doesn't tolerate tantrums, and he's learning that quickly.  I'm excited to go home tomorrow, just because I miss home.  I'm not used to being a "parent", so the past 5 days have re-strengthened my "no kids EVER" policy.  I'm just not cut out for it.  I've managed to keep my patience and be understanding that this kid doesn't know what's going on, but I can only take so much.  I'm not the "motherly" type.  I'll just let my friends pop out the kids.  I'm more of a pet person.Well, she should be home in just a little while, so I need to do some more cleaning!!
