So, I got everything figured out. At least, financially!
I had a great weekend. I threw a bridal shower and bachelorette party for a friend who's wedding I'm in...two weeks from now!! It was a great time. We had the shower yesterday afternoon and thanks to the bride being lactose intolerant, there was a wide variety of foods to munch on. I was actually able to eat stuff! Not a lot, but some. We played games and watched her open presents. Then we had a 2 hour break to clean and get ready for the bachelorette. We threw her a Pure Romance party. I was the designated driver because I'm still scared to get drunk too fast. I drank water all night, but acted like I was drunk, so it was fun. :) We had planned to go "galactic bowling" which is bowling with black lights and fluorescent pins. We got to the bowling ally and it was DEAD! We decided just to hang in the bar at the bowling ally (it was kareoke night). We had prepared to bowl, so we were wearing glow sticks and funky clothing, but it set us apart as a bridal party! I felt a little immature, but we had a good time.
Today was ok. I woke up not feeling so great, I think because of all the smoke in the bar, but as the day went on, I felt better.
My parents had a BBQ this evening, so I stayed in town for that. I came back home tonight to find out my neighbors had been busted for growing pot. Bonus! They'll get kicked out and I will have peace and quiet once again!
