Well, I made it through my first REAL support group. I met some new people and heard their stories. I saw some great before and after pictures and just some before pictures. It's really exciting to meet with people who are in all different stages of recovery. A lot of them had tips for me because I was the newest member (with the most recent surgery date). I told them I was having problems getting all my protein in. They suggested shakes and supplements and just some foods that I wouldn't even think had protein in them. The group meets once a month, so I'm glad I joined this group as well.

I had been slipping with the smoking thing, so I'm back on the patch. I had a few left over from quitting, so I threw a 7mg patch on before coming to work this morning. I hope that works.

I'm getting excited for the wedding I'm going to be in next month. I reserved a hotel room today (A suite!!). I am excited to need alterations on my dress! I hope it just hangs on me when I put it on! I won't know until May 4th. They said that's the absolute LAST day I can get alterations done to get the dress back before the wedding. I'm pretty sure the bride would be mad if I didn't have the dress before then. :)

I'm at work, so I have to go, but I will probably write again later. :)
