Been a while again, what can I say? things are going along well in my life. The shattered family my ex started is about completed. I fled to a state 1100 miles away. My oldest, who moved in next to us so that all of us, grandkids included, could get together often and grow together. That is now toast, the ex is very close to completing the move to a destination equally as far as mine, but opposite. She went north to a cold part of the lake effect snow belt in michigan, I went south to North Carolina. She will be working in a rural town, I moved to a large, prosperous city. I have been pretty stable with onewoman, she has worked the angles with many different men. The oldest has moved away from across the street from the ex so she could be closer to work. I can promise you that all of us now, leading our seperate lives, will probably see each other very infrequently. So, it is the way it is. I am pretty happy. Quiet days no longer find me saddened, but now and then, pangs of missing being able to grow old with the grandkids hit, like today. I am joyous 90 percent of the time, happy 9 percent of the time, and 1 percent of the time still feeling that ol' what if this had never happened feeeling. But even then, it is not sadness but merely an old amputation. I am not diminished, just changed I have been lucky. I got so much of what I was missing in my marriage. Maybe she did to. Life moves on.

Yes, moving on is great. I think there will be a lingering sadness for what should have been, but it fades with time. I love that I feel so much better, and it makes me totally joyous when my DS friends find happiness.
It does give us all hope.. I have found such contentment and happiness on my own but can say I am ready to share that with another if that is meant to be.. I wish you continued forward movement and happiness.. Kimmee
