What life has puzzled out for me, I strive to acheive. Life is but a task master at times, refusing to give me a moments rest. But love beckons me, she calls me with her compelling voice. She caresses me lightly on my cheek and suddely, her girlish eyes change and the lowered eyelids no longer have innocent playfulness in them, but a passionate heat that draw me in. She is a siren and I am compelled to answer for even were it in my power to ignore her song, I long ago lost the desire to resist her charms. Our lips lock and my heart races at first kiss, our bodies intertwined in passionate embrace. Love and I walk hand in hand, the winter day warm and comforting for a change. The light breeze kisses my skin in a soft caress, the touch of her hand to me as natural as breathing. The sound of the city plays upon my ears in a cacophony of noises ,but I hear a sweet chorus For love retunes all things around me and it becomes music. She sings to me and I suddenly am carried away from the worries of the world. Her voice does that for me, it cuts worry from me and sends it away with just three words. "I love you", she declares quietly, and as soon as she utters those three words, she has once again given to me the greatest treasure of all, for to me, nothing on this earth can fill me inside like she can. How differently people seem to me now. There is her, woman, and then there is everybody else. Oh, I realize that women make up 51 percent of the US population, but they do not exist for me. I have but one woman in my life and for me, no other exist My life was not always like this. Less than 8 months ago, my life was an endless pain, a daily agony as painful as being boiled alive in oil. But I survived the divorce, and along with my marriage, fear left my life. For I have experienced the one thing I thought I could not, and it tempered me and gave me a backbone that never existed. I lost my fear, and that is the greatest gift my ex ever gave me. Kiss me and let us join together from afar you and me. I know obstacles await us, they lay before us now. But out lives will join and because of that union, we shall foerever be changed...
