Beautiful your words caress meBeautiful they are to meWonderful your sweet caressesSweetly they doth talk to me When I see you, I am lifted. So divinely I do feelCan I be like this forever? Can this dream for'er be real? I am reborn from such sadnessBut it was a gift from HimSent me packing to a strange landAnd I though it just a whim But you are here and I am with youA loving joy, a pretty dreamA love so deep it holds me tightlyA love so great, it reign supreme Only love of God can top itAnd even He can see how pureIs this light that shines within meAnd that it is light that shall endure So my lover, take my hand dearAnd we'll walk a couple boundBy no earthly power that holds usBut a power much more profound. Friday, I woke up and examined my life. It is sweet and wonderful my friends. I look back at the moment my ex asked for divorce and recall how destroyed I was. But if I can pass along one thing, one feeling it is that I know now, just as surely as if I had been resurrected from the dead by God himself that divorce was a great blessing, a release from a prison I did not even realize I was trapped in untill I gained my freedom. I feared the world, I feared change, I feared moving on. But now I am a changed man, so much stronger and carrying so much less fear. I am a man filled with wonderful joy, filled with abundant happiness and my life is so much better in so many ways. A while back, my brother in law lost his leg in an accident. It was mangled and badly damaged, so much so the doctors begged him to be done with it, to cut it off. But at that time, he could only think that without that leg, he would not be whole and so, he refused. For weeks he fought though the pain. He hurt terribly, cried daily. But despite how better off he would be without it, he would not let go of it. Finally, it got infected badly, and he writhed in pain so badly he passed out. When he woke, his leg was gone. Oh he threw such a tantrum! He swore at the nurse, he called his wife every name in the book for allowing them to take turn him into less of a man. He called his lawyer and started a lawsuit and then he withdrew, angry and bitter. But this only went on for a short while. For after a few days, he began to feel much better. With the infection and pain gone, he started getting a full nights sleep. As he recovered, he started to feel GOOD. After some weeks passed, he and I were shooting the breeze and he confessed that despite that leg being gone, he was thankful that all that pain and misery were gone from his life, and that he was thankful for that moment when someone else forced the issue, regardless of what he wanted. So divorce was to me. I hated my wife, oh, hell, I am STILL angry sometimes. I could not amputate the infected part of me, I simply did not believe I would be whole. So, eventually someone else, my ex, took the reigns and amputated a festering, infected painful part of me. And now I look at myself and realize that despite having a part of me removed, I am more whole than I have been in a long time I love you my friends, stay on path, KNOW that even though you feel a vital part of you is being removed you will be even MORE whole than you are now, once the pain of that removal passes. KNOW that your divorce is not going to diminsh you. Instead, it is merely an amputation of an infected, painful part of you. And once it is done and over, once the sickness it is causing in your heart and soul is removed, you will find the happiness, joy and contentment you deserve!

You have the most beautiful way with words. I love the way you can express what you feel. This journal ought to be on the front page of DS!
