Today I got served the papers finally.  Been waiting for them, but still it feels odd.  Court date is 27 August, and as I understand Kansas law, that will be the day I am single again.   I got me a sweety as you know, I will not be a free man when I see her here in 13 days, but if we work out, I will be ready for her and unburdened the next time we are together.        L is a goodun, but she stil wonders whether I am prepared for a relationship with her.  That is not the reassurance I am looking for LOL   I need her today, and every day.  I want her to FEEL that in her bones.  She and I fit so well, she even likes ping pong, one of my favorite sports.      Well, another significant milestone gone.  Won't be long now.  All I need is money in the bank.  The rest, well, now my lover has doubts because of the way I reacted to the papers.     Now that I have invested myself emotionally, she has doubts again.  I cannot go on like that, every couple of weeks reselling myself and my love for her.  I NEED HER, but dammit, she is gonna have to believe in me.  I can want to be free but still hurt about it.

All of us are going to be somewhat skeptical going into new relationships coming out of a divorce. If she\'s been through one the way you are, then she should understand. You have been clearly happy lately and it\'s because of your feeling surrounding her. But you will have to deal with your feelings about the divorce, and being served papers is going to trigger some of those feelings. It doesn\'t mean that you want to be back with you wife. It just means you cared about her and this is not \"easy\" to do.

You\'re a great guy, so have faith that she will see and feel your feelings for her. Just keep being who you are and things will be fine.

Big hugs!!!

Ahh Honkitywomp, don\'t be upset with her. She is so fragile. Aren\'t we all? Falling in love again is so scary, so big, so unimaginalbe that when it happens it seems to good to be true. The doubts exist, and we women needs lots of manly assurances. Let her know, that as you reassure her, you also need her to reassure you. It is expected that as you close what it probably one of the longest chapters of your life, there will be sadness. Not wanting back what you had, but sadness for what will never be. Let her know that it in no way belittles your new relationship with her. Big hugs!
