Let me preface that i am not a lazy dog...  My STBX does the lawn and I do the dishes.. Today when I got home, my STBX was doing the lawn.  I went outside, grabbed a chair and just watched her work.  I asked myself: "What is it about me that caused her to dislike me so?"  I watched her for a while and chewed on that inquiry as it bounced around in my mind.   I watched her, trying to work up some emotion, trying to find out what happened to 33 years of my life.   I then asked myselfL  "What is it about me that my North Carolina sweety finds so appealing?"    It had to be the same answer for both questions.  Because I am me...   Because I am me..  Because I am me, L cares about me in ways I am so hungry for.  Because I am me, I can give freely of myself in the only ways I know and be loved for that.Because I am me, I am loved by God and L and I feel great!Because I am me, I can pour out my heartfelt emotions in my own special way and have someone close that wants what I can give How wonderful it is to be me today!  Misery always lurks in the background, waiting to pounce on me.  I reject you Misery!!!  Today I feel special because today I am me and am loved just the way I am.
